Baltimore, MD, August 19th, 2019 // Baltimore County Public Schools announced that Ticket Spicket will serve as the exclusive ticket provider for BCPS athletic events and student activities beginning with the fall of the upcoming 2019-20 school year.
Ticket Spicket‘s online and mobile ticketing technology was selected as the preferred option for BCPS after their leadership evaluated a wide variety of ticketing options.
Ticket Spicket gives students, families, and fans the ability to buy pre-sale tickets and custom season passes online. BCPS, currently the 25th largest school district in the United States, will allow fans to use their smartphone to gain access at school events through a simple and secure ticket validation function.
“Our school district interviewed an extensive group of ticketing vendors before arriving at our decision,” said Michael Sye, Coordinator of Athletics for Baltimore County Public Schools. “We were very impressed by Ticket Spicket. Their technology stood out for its ability to meet the complex requirements of a larger school district and they’ve established a reputation for outstanding customer service in our region.”
Baltimore County’s online tickets are available now at spicket.events/bcps, where fans can also select from one of the 24 BCPS high schools to see their specific schedules and available events. Ticket Spicket will also be providing each of Baltimore County’s high schools with customized pro-level paper tickets for the entirety of the school year.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Baltimore County’s student activities programs,” said Donnie Schemetti, co-founder of Ticket Spicket. “We look forward to helping BCPS engage their fans and sell tickets more conveniently moving forward.”
